Shayan Italia - Zoroastrian UK Top 40 Artist

Single PosterFellow Zoroastrians,

It is with great pride that I inform you that our very own Zoroastrian singer and song writer,  Shayan Italia today releases his debut single “Reflection.”  On 13th of October 2007 his “Reflection” music video was at 4th position in the TV Airplay Chart, having had 301 plays that week.  You can watch the music video on Shayan’s site http://www.shayanitalia.com/.

Many Zoroastrians heard Shayan performing for the first time at the Zoroastrian Centre for Europe during the 8th World Zoroastrian Congress in June 2005.   He impressed members of the community both young and old with his talent, to the extent that he was requested to perform for a second time on the closing day of the conference.

I urge you all to purchase Shayan’s single and help propel him to the top of the singles chart.  Please promote him to all your family and friends and support this young and upcoming Zoroastrian artist.  We wish Shayan great success in his endeavour.

2007-2008 ZAGNY Religious Class Schedule

Hello All,

Hope you all had a great summer. Believe it or not it is “back to ZAGNY Class-&-lunch ” already, so welcome to a new ZAGNY Religious class year.

Looking back at 2006-07 we had an exciting year with more members coming in every month and staying back for lunch. With the enthusiasm of all the members for the first time we had a Chat party last year, which proved to be a great success. Many members have expressed their desire to have another one this year, and probably some other theme dinners … like Indo Chinese/ South Indian, or any other food let me know (guys keep in mind we have limited income). I will let you know in advance which month will be scheduled for theme lunches.

To start with the Lunch money remains the same i.e. $3.50 (and $5.00 for walk ins).
Please note, in the past we charged the additional  .50 cents to cover the cost of the teachers and other miscellaneous expenses like dessert, pickles, salad, yogurt or any other additional item. Since we have a surplus of $464.00… and some change, we have decided to use this money towards the miscellaneous expense that will incur during the next school year and keep the current ZAGNY lunch charges the same. …Read the rest of this entry »»»
